Shaping the future of radiography with AI

Radiography4Future aims to develop a set of online micro-credentials on AI in radiography, accessible throughout the EU. These micro-credential courses will cover both generic and radiography-specific AI content, didactics, and technical foundations.

The courses will be piloted and evaluated at 75 partner sites, based on a scoping review, qualitative interviews, surveys, and current literature on AI in radiology. This initiative will also incorporate the latest knowledge on AI among radiographers and expertise in online education and didactics.

By developing these micro-credentials, Radiography4Future seeks to bridge the gap between formal education and the evolving needs of society and the labor market. This initiative aims to ensure high-quality services in the radiographer profession across the EU.

Micro-credentials support lifelong learning, empowering individuals to acquire and maintain skills and adapt to new technologies. Additionally, the generic AI courses can be extended to other educational fields beyond radiography.
